This is the SECOND part to Katherine Rodger’s Introduction to Watercolor course. In this course students will learn more in depth color theory, mixing watercolor pigments, composition concepts, how to create texture and the use negative space. We will cover painting flowers, still life, metalwork, painting glass objects.
Learn to draw your favorite pet! Lis is an experienced artist and member of the Colored Pencil Society. She will be able to guide you through the process of bringing your favorite pet to life.
Basic Fundamentals of drawing will be taught and demonstrated, to include the principal application of contour line, gesture and shade while performing exercises in drawing from live nude models. The primary goal is for the student to achieve an understanding of how to apply the basics of drawing toward a final drawing, encompassing all aspects of learned techniques experienced during the 8-week course.
