MICHAEL O’REILLY Esq., Chairman
Michael O’Reilly, Principal of The O’Reilly Law Firm. A Northern Virginia native, BA - Virginia Commonwealth University. Law degree - The Catholic University of America. Active member of the Virginia State Bar since 1979. Extensive State and Federal trial experience; commercial litigation; construction disputes; contractual and complex business disputes; and personal injury claims. A Town of Herndon resident, O’Reilly has served on local commissions, boards and organizations; two consecutive terms on Herndon Town Council; and Mayor 2004 to 2006; currently serves as Chairman of the Fairfax-Falls Church Partnership to Prevent and End Homelessness and co-chair, Herndon Chamber of Commerce.
PATRICIA MACINTYRE, Vice Chairman
Patricia MacIntyre, Chief Financial Officer of MEDA Inc, a magnetometer manufacturer for space, defense and geophysical applications. Principal of The Reston Gallery & Studios at Lake Anne. Trained at Corcoran School of Art, Washington DC, her private commissions and works have been exhibited in Germany, Pakistan, Egypt and other parts of the world. She’s done commercial and technical illustrations, as well as children’s books. Her involvement in the local arts community for more than thirty years as founder, board supporter of Herndon and Reston organizations such as the Council for the Arts of Herndon (Art in Public Places), League of Reston Artists, Herndon Old Town Gallery, Reston Historic Trust and the Arts Alliance. She has been the Art Resource teacher for many years at Reston Children’s Center. MacIntyre was production designer, and acted in, Reston Television Theatre’s Shenandoah Night Train and Ken Ludwig’s The Prodigal. Her work is honored in Embassy collections of the nations that helped in return of US citizens during the Iran Hostage Affair. She assisted with the Korean War Veterans Memorial, has her works displayed at the Congressional Gala, toured the US as a fundraiser and exhibited at Presidential groundbreaking ceremonies and dedications.
MARGARET A. O’REILLY Esq., Secretary,
Chair, Public Art Committee Margaret A. O’Reilly, Principal in Margaret O’Reilly, PC, estate planning and elder law attorney. A Northern Virginia native O’Reilly practiced law in the Boston area for 25 years before returning to northern Virginia. BA in Psychology, Duke University. Law degree - Northeastern University School of Law, Boston. A top elder law attorney in the greater Washington DC area. O’Reilly is recognized as a “Best Lawyer” and as a “Super Lawyer” in the field of elder law, and is ranked as one of the “Best Law Firms” in the DC area She is active in the community, previously serving on the Boards of Directors for Herndon Rotary Club, and the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has sung with, and served as Board President of Choralis, an 80-voice mixed chorus located in Falls Church, Virginia.
MICHAEL LLOYD, Treasurer
Michael Lloyd joined Kaiser Permanente and currently oversees all financial, administrative and operational activities at Kaiser Permanente’s ten NVa medical centers. Lloyd grew up in Bridgeport, WV and attended West Virginia University. MA - University of Notre Dame. CPA and CCIM certifications. Subsequent positions included CFO of insurance companies in Washington, DC and Chicago, Ill. A resident of Herndon since 2009, his dog “River” is included in the Town of Herndon mural on the Dominion Animal Hospital commissioned by Arts Herndon.
MEGAN DUBOIS, Board Member
Megan DuBois currently Arts Manager for Fairfax City, previously Front of House Manager at Mason’s Center for the Arts. A Northern Virginia native DuBois currently lives in Centerville. BA - Washington and Jefferson College, MA in Arts Management – Carnegie Mellon University. Her professional background includes management and administrative work at The Barns at Wolf Trap and the Maryland Symphony Orchestra. Megan is a violinist and lover of all things historical.
DON OWENS, Board Member
Don Owens and wife, Chris Griffin, established Griffin Owens Insurance Group in Herndon. A graduate of James Madison University, Owen received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Averett College. He has been named as the Citizen of the Year in Herndon, business member of the year by the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, has received the Community Service Award from the YMCA. Past President of the Rotary Club of Herndon, has previously served on the boards of Millennium Bank, Main Street Bank, Reston Chamber of Commerce, Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Fairfax YMCA.
