Desert Bloom.jpg

Melanie Zucker Stanley

Explore your artistic voice and creativity as you learn to work with different, exciting, and fun techniques for painting and “pouring “while working with a variety of materials on different surfaces.

In this class, we will focus on painting and exploring the possibilities with composition and design, using great color, texture, and layering.  Some drawing and collage will be included where appropriate.

Your instructor will facilitate your creative journey, guiding you and doing valuable, inspirational hands-on techniques for using a variety of materials that will enhance your understanding and personal goals for building and finishing your artwork.

We will use mixed media such as fluid acrylics, heavy tube acrylics, gel mediums, inks, pens, pencils, papers, photos, and more to create abstract and/or representational compositions with bold color that makes our hearts sing!

Experienced and beginner students will be encouraged to work on canvas sizes that are within their comfort zone.

Please join us, and build understanding, skill, and expertise with PAINTING, drawing, and collage. Explore, discover, and have fun as you LEARN in a safe, supportive environment! Beginners to advanced artists enjoy this class, and the instructor differentiates instruction to encourage everyone at their own pace. Let the Wild Rumpus Begin!

Melanie holds a degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, exhibits her work in a variety of locations, and continues to study mixed media art to enhance her own training.
