Get ready for Spring with a Big Flower Painting in acrylic. In the style of Georgia O’Keefe, Mary Sears will guide you through painting a large, close up flower with your choice of colors, and a short saying, if time permits.
About the Teacher:
Mary Sears is a local Herndon artist and art educator. She teaches K-8 Art at St. Joseph’s School in Herndon and conducts classes for adults at her studio. Her business, Glorious Goblets, has produced art and giftware for her customers, young and old, for over 20 years. She paints glassware featuring flowers, coastal art, vineyard, bridal, seasonal and whimisical themes. You can find her watercolors of Herndon scenes on prints, note cards, coasters, and coming soon, on Tea Towels. Chances are if something isn’t moving, Mary might paint on it.
